WALK THE TRAILS AT JACKMAN FOREST

Timing:

9:30 am, Saturday, April 6 (1.5-2 hrs)

Description:

Join us for a morning hike on the Hal Jackman property north of Kleinburg.

A sensational wilderness hike is planned on nice trails with several suspension bridges spanning the East Humber River, through beautiful older growth forests & valley vistas.

Hike should take at least 90 minutes and be quite strenuous with a lot of elevation changes…good footwear is a must, and dress for the weather.

A great walk for the entire family, and well-behaved dogs are welcomed too.

Hike Leader(s):

Ian Gray has been leading entertaining hikes in the Humber River Valley for many years.

Directions:
  • From Kleinburg, travel  north on Hwy 27 a few minutes to King-Vaughan Line.
  • Turn east (right) and go 2.1 kms  to start of hike.
  • Park  vehicle on the shoulder, and walk starts to the north.
