BRUCE TRAIL HIKE NORTH OF GLEN HAFFY CONSERVATION AREA (Caledon)

Timing:  Sat. Jun. 18 10:00 am (2 – 2.5 hr)
Description:

(10 km, strenuous at times)

Join us for an early summer hike on the Bruce Trail just north of Glen Haffy Conservation Area. We will enjoy an interesting variety of scenery, as the trail passes by mature woods, open parkland, reforestation plantations & farm fields. Our hike will take us into the most northerly & westerly headwaters of the Main Humber River, almost 30 km northwest of Kleinburg (as the crow flies).

The terrain will be variable, and hilly. Hiking boots are a must, and the hiking will be strenuous at times.

Be sure to bring a lunch, water and bug repellent. Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome.

Hike Leader: Mike Davis is a very experienced hiker on the Bruce Trail and many other trails in Ontario, Alberta, the Adirondacks & overseas. He serves as membership director for HVHTA Kleinburg Chapter.
Directions:
