Nashville Conservation Reserve – Inaugural Winter Bird Walk & Count

Timing: Sat. Jan. 21/2017, 9:30 am to 12:00 noon

Whether you are a hiker, nature enthusiast, experienced bird watcher or just want to learn more about this Reserve and its trails and birds, you’re welcome to participate. You will join an experienced hike leader and bird expert for a one hour walk through the Humber Valley in the Nashville Conservation Reserve.

We will be meeting at the Kline House, 8 Nashville Road, Kleinburg at 9:30 am where you will be organized into groups with your hike leaders and head out to the reserve for the bird count. We will return to the Kline House for some warm drinks and snacks to tally up our count. The data collected will be submitted to Ebird, a global, real-time, online checklist program to report and access information about birds.
