Postponed due to trail conditionsApril 5/14 (Saturday) at 7:00 pm. (2 hrs)
Join us for HVHTA’s first night hike in the valley of the Humber River’s East Branch.
We will meet at the McMichael gallery parking lot at 7 pm. The first hour of the walk will take place in twilight, and the second hour in the dark. This will give us an opportunity to experience the valley at night, when a different variety of creatures are out and about!
The hike will follow wide, all-purpose trails without major changes in elevation, and the walking pace will be that of a leisurely stroll. All the same we recommend sturdy, comfortable footwear.
Please note that NO DOGS on this hike, as coyotes may be active at night in the valley.
Note re weather/trail conditions: This hike will be postponed in the event of inclement weather, or below-freezing temperatures, or if the trail tread is snow-covered or icy.
An email notice will be sent before hike starting time in the case of a postponement.
