HIKE ON THE BRUCE TRAIL at GLEN HAFFY CONSERVATION AREA
Saturday, December 2, 2017 @ 10:00 a.m.
Distance approx. 8 km (strenuous at times).
Join us for an early December hike on the Bruce Trail at Glen Haffy Conservation area. We will hike for approximately 2 1/2 hours ( 8km) through the conservation area and on the Bruce Trail. The terrain is hilly and muddy in some spots. This is a beautiful forested area with fish ponds and a stream running through it. We will have a short refreshment break, bring a snack and a drink. Wear boots and layered clothing.
After the hike there will be a pub stop at the Caledon Inn on Airport Road.
Iain Craig is a long time HVHTA executive member. Iain has lead many hikes for our organization and is especially known for his annual Boyd historical walk.
