Summer doesn’t officially arrive until June 20, but we’re getting a head start! Join us for this spirited 10 km hike led by Ron Macnaughton, an experienced and enthusiastic HVHTA hike leader.
We’ll begin by visiting three distinct bridges over the Humber River, each one larger than the last. Our route then passes the site of a demolished house and follows an old farm road to a shallow part of the river—likely once used as a ford.
From there, we’ll hike along the Humber River to Humber Station Road, then loop back using an improved trail toward Bolton, where a scenic lookout offers a wide view of the town and valley below—a highlight not to be missed.
What to Bring:
✔️ A friend or family member – the more the merrier!
✔️ Sturdy waterproof hiking shoes or boots
✔️ Hiking stick or poles (recommended for uneven terrain)
✔️ Water and snacks
✔️ Dress in layers – spring/summer conditions can vary

Come stretch your legs, breathe deeply, and enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the almost-summer season!
