📍 Meeting Location: Palgrave Forest parking lot (west side of Hwy 50, 0.5 km north of Palgrave or 2.2 km south of Hwy 9)
🚶 Hike Distance: Approx. 12 km
⏳ Duration: 3–4 hours
🥾 Difficulty: Easy – mostly level trail with several very gentle hills
🌲 Trail Conditions: Mixed forest trail, well marked
Join us for a pleasant winter walk through the forest and wildlife area just north of Palgrave. This route follows well-established trails through a mix of woodland landscapes, offering a peaceful setting for an enjoyable late-winter outing.
We’ll pause midway for a short break, so please bring water and a snack. No lunch is planned on the trail, but participants are welcome to gather afterward for an optional social stop at the Caledon Hills Brewery Company in Palgrave.
🔁 This hike will start and finish at the Palgrave Forest parking lot.

Layered clothing suitable for winter conditions
Hiking boots with good traction
Water and a snack
Optional: hiking poles for stability on uneven or icy sections
